Upon picking Elliot up from school today (only 5-6 year olds on Wednesday), Martin, one of Elliot's teachers, was cheerily telling me about his & Elliot's conversation about Ozzy Osbourne and Van Halen, including the distinction between which songs David Lee Roth and Sammy Haggar each sang. Apparently this was followed by some very serious air guitar complete with "humming" of all the guitar rifts. Martin, being the London-bred English bloke he is, was quite entertained and impressed with Elliot's knowledge of this particular genre of music. On our way home Elliot seemed to be pretending to drink something. I asked him what he was doing. "Just drinking a beer."
What?!?! Two words. GOOD GRIEF.
