It isn't just a rumor. It rains A LOT during winter in London. Wet, wet, wet. My hands & feet are growing webs and I've started to waddle. My wellies sigh at me when I put them on. The best part is the children after they've played out in the garden at school. No "clean rain puddles" for them - they are for the weak of heart. No, at school they get proper mud puddles, as you can see from this photo.
So far, aside from the school aftermath clean-up, it's not affecting me too much. I'm definitely enjoying 40 & 50 degree winter temps. But I do foresee a day when I will be praying for some sunshine. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Or perhaps waddle across it.
